theQ Camera was the world’s first social camera to market. Launched in 2013, it allowed you to share photos directly from the camera to your social networks. Fast, easy, and fun, with a youthful exuberance and attitude that defies limits, we needed to create something that would reflect this and get the attention of the young audience theQ was built for. Working with a small team, I approached this project as if we were designing a world, building a vibrant and colorful space where everyone could see themselves. We utilized the nine different colors of the camera, pulling these into every aspect of the branding and identity, creating the entire brand identity from scratch, including creative direction, product platform design, and print material.
